MediaMaster Pro ships with the new Video Mapper Extension which allows easy video mapping onto irregularly shaped surfaces and through multiple outputs.

Designed to let you set up video mapping projects in a very short time, it makes it incredibly simple to flow visuals around complex objects with just a few clicks.

On top of the Theater Mode, MediaMaster Pro adds a fixture-based operation mode and support for MSEX, allowing thumbnail previews and live output to the console screens.

The fixture profiles allow total control of every MediaMaster parameter straight from the DMX console and turn any powerful computer into a traditional live event Media Server for professional lighting consoles such as ChamSys, Avolites, LSC, ETC, GrandMA, Martin, Compulite, etc..

The new software version will boost rendering and performance of this powerful and flexible control system by 33% utilising the same hardware. This had been extensively tested on ArKaos’ professional media sever range, running Windows 10. This technology is in line with the latest existing 4K live event media servers and those coming to the market.

The philosophy behind all of ArKaos’ control solutions is to focus on making video surfaces, screens, etc., work just like moving lights. The goal is to empower lighting designers, programmers and operators through the use of DMX video software. To help them ensure the seamless integration of video and pixel lightsources with lighting fixtures in their visual designs via DMX control and without needing to utilize a separate video controller.

This opens up the revolutionary development of having the lighting consoles drive video sources, acting as a live event media server. Whatever the size and scale of the show – from the smallest and most intricate to the largest and most complex – the principle is the same. The person operating the lighting console can have the capacity to run all visual elements together with ArKaos AV media server software. The MediaMaster 5 upgrade is fixture based and introduces fixture personalities for the various video entities to the lighting console – just as if they were moving lights. There will no longer be a need to build special personalities for these video elements giving MediaMasterdmx video software even more flexibility than a visual control system.

The Theater Mode interface of MediaMaster marks a new phase in AV media server software development, allowing you to make use of the latest dynamic visual effects combined with an efficient and intuitive library management system and with simple front end control via DMX, MIDI or even a computer keyboard.

MediaMasters' Theater Mode interface allows you to prepare your video mapping, pixel mapping and more in the AV media server software itself and then simply take control of your visual presets using a few channels on your lighting desk or notes on a MIDI controller.

The MediaHub is a new extension designed to run with MediaMaster Express or MediaMaster Pro. Users can remotely control the content of the MediaMaster Library, using it just like traditional live event media servers. It’s designed to run on the network so a light designer in the front of the house can upload, update and delete content on the server located backstage. It’s also ideally designed for rental companies that need to copy, backup and restore libraries when preparing AV media servers for new customers.

The MediaHub can also be used to monitor the performance of a live event media server during a live show to ensure a smooth experience. The final product is an intuitive and powerful interface that allows versatile use as AV media server software thanks to the dedication and attention to detail from our developers.

MediaMaster currently includes the intuitive LED Mapper Extension, the flexible pixel mapping and video mapping software solution from ArKaos to drive LED panels.

The Editor now works in the same time as MediaMaster, meaning you can interactively preview your edits by sending the video mapping output or the pixel mapper’s static pattern to the network.

The LEDMapper supports unicast to reduce the load on the network and allows you to drive many LED fixtures for more complex pixel mapping projects. The interface displays the pool of devices detected on the network to make it easy to assign IP addresses to the fixtures.

All popular video file formats are supported, and with MediaMaster’s very efficient media management system, you can store up to 60,000 visuals in more than 200 folders, delete and move files at your convenience without having to re-stack a programmed show, offering the ultimate AV media server software convenience.

MediaMaster now also has Multiple NDI outputs, as well as being fully integrated in the extensive NDI product ecosystem, cementing it as a versatile live performance software.

NDI® (or Network Device Interface) is a free protocol to send Video over IP. It is designed to allow the distribution of live professional video content over an existing IP infrastructure, freeing users from current hardware constraints. This means that NDI doesn’t just cut back on cost, but also drastically reduces deployment time.

MediaMaster Pro Multi-threaded Engine

Built on ArKaos’ latest generation of technology, MediaMaster’s multi-threaded engine delivers blistering performance, by taking advantage of multi-core machines to offer a true professional media server software experience. MediaMaster comes with improved frame blending support allowing extremely smooth video playback even at slow speeds and software genlock to make it possible to play several HD movies at up to 60 fps without dropping a single frame, surpassing the capabilities of some traditional hardware live event media servers.

MediaMaster Pro Practical Interface

A straightforward interface displaying all layer parameters simultaneously, as well as all layer previews, gives lighting designers improved visibility of their shows and the best ergonomics possible. Using the MediaMaster’s edge blending software functionality, you can even generate a preview visual of your Soft Edge setup so you can't go wrong!

Mix Audio From Your Video

MediaMaster DMX video software can also play and mix the audio track from your movies. This feature, which comes with global audio volume control through DMX, turns any lighting desk into a professional A/V mixer.

Audio Visualizers

MediaMaster’s audio visualizers are powerful visual animations that react to the audio input to create nice ambient visuals. Audio visualizers are perfect to create video mapping or pixel mapping for clubs, live DJ performances and LED outputs.

Infinite Creative Possibilities

Are the video files not interactive enough? Do you need more effects? MediaMaster supports Actionscript3 in Flash animations as well as Quartz Composer .qtz files as Sources and as Effects (Mac OS X only) so you can create your own unique interactive animations, music visualizers and effects.

Total Control

Take total control of your media: position, scale, rotate, adjust transparency, alpha, colors, compose with other layers etc. MediaMaster Art-Net video software supports major media formats, multiple video inputs, and provides more than 60 effects with controllable parameters.

Guaranteed Quality

MediaMaster’s powerful video engine and integrated native decoders of MPEG 2/4, QuickTime photo JPEG and Adobe Flash (among other formats) guarantee a smooth and reliable playback of full HD media on all layers, allowing the full live event media server experience.
