SELECT 1.0 PASSIVE LINE LEVEL PRE-AMPLIFIER AUDION

The Audion 1.0 Passive Pre-amplifier is designed and built using the best components that contribute to giving it pure sound reproduction. The volume control is a HIGH QUALITY ALPS stereo pot of the type to make sure you get precise stereo sound on any volume level.

The 1.0 passive pre-amp has 5 stereo line level inputs, 2 stereo outputs and an unattenuated stereo line tape output, as well as a ground lift switch to enable the internal ground to be floated above chassis ground level. This helps to reduce hum from connected equipment.

More and more audiophiles are discovering the benefits of passive pre-amps, mainly because more often than not, a passive pre-amp does the essential job of  a pre-amp (input switching and controlling volume) while doing the least amount of harm to the audio signal.

A passive pre-amp is much like a simple volume control, Few parts to alter the sound, and best of all what comes out is pretty much what goes in.

The chassis is of the same all aluminium construction as our Anniversary amplifiers, having similar front dimensions and looks but is easy to place as it is only half the depth.
